Marie-Hélène Schwoob

Having graduated from the AgroParisTech and from Sciences Po-Paris, Marie-Helene Schwoob uses her dual background in Agronomy and Political Science to conduct research on sustainability issues in agriculture and food systems. After having managed the Energy and Environment Program at Asia Centre (international relations think tank based in Paris), she joined the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (Iddri) in 2011, first as a PhD candidate at Sciences Po Paris on China’s agricultural modernization and then as a research fellow coordinating the project Agricultural Transformation Pathways for the Sustainable Development Solutions Network of the United Nations. She occasionally teaches graduate courses at Sciences Po, Ecole des Mines and Université Lille-III and regularly contributes to the China Analysis review.
