Gregory Tsouris joined the European Commission and Directorate General Agriculture and Rural Development in July 2003. His work focused on the negotiation and management rural development programmes of various EU member states which aim at fostering the competitiveness of agriculture, sustainable management of natural resources, climate action and achieving a balanced territorial development of rural economies and communities. He joined DG Climate Action in July 2014 in the Climate Finance and deforestation unit. He is the policy officer in charge of South and South East Asia as well as of ASEAN and ASEM relations. Before joining the commission he worked as Client Sales and Services Executive in AC Nielsen Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa Headquarters in Cyprus.
Gregory Tsouris has studied economics’ engineering as well as Management in banking and finance at Université Louis Pasteur I – Strasbourg, France.
