Mr Christophe Yvetot holds the position of Head of UNIDO Liaison Office to the European Union, the European Investment Bank, Belgium and Luxembourg. As Director of UNIDO Brussels Office, he continues to foster the dialogue and cooperation with the European Union in the areas of Climate Action and Energy. The EU and UNIDO are collaborating for sustainable industrial development in more than 100 countries in the world. In 2012, he led the “Sustainable Energy for All” Brussels campaign, mobilizing the EU to support the three goals of Energy Access, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency that are soon becoming UN universal goals for 2030 (SDG7 on Sustainable Energy). Currently, he is following various energy-related issues in Brussels. An international lawyer by background, Mr Yvetot has worked in international organizations for more than 20 years, specifically in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and in the UN Industrial Development Organization.
